When I try to START my station, I receive the message "Your Station Has Abrubtly Stopped!"
Solution
This is probably due to incorrect settings under the "Server
Profile" setup for your station.
Either some or all of the settings are incorrect:
1) Server Type
2) Hostname (or IP address)
* Try using the IP address of your stream server software.
3) Port
4) Password
* This is not the password for your LiveWebDJ.com account!
It is the "source" password for your streaming server.
If you use a stream hosting provider, they should have provided
you with this information.
If you are operating the stream server software on your own computer,
you need to make sure that you have a Public/Static IP address AND
you are not behind a firewall.
You will need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for
more information regarding obtaining a Public/Static IP address for
your computer.
If you are behind a firewall, which includes connecting through a
broadband router / wireless router.... You will need to program
your firewall / broadband router / wireless router to:
1) Obtain a Public / Static IP address.
2) Port Forward 8000 & 8001 to the "internal" IP address of your
computer... (i.e. 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x)
* Make sure you have your stream server software set to
port 8000.
* Your "internal" IP address should be set to "static"
on your computer running the stream server software.
(i.e. manually configure an "internal" IP address by
configuring your network card to use, for example,
192.168.0.99 or 10.0.0.99 depending upon your network
configuration)
We highly recommend utilizing a stream hosting provider. Do a

If you subscribe to LiveWebDJ.com's ShoutCAST Server Hosting, these settings can be directly imported by the server.
Login to your account. Click on the 'Server Profile' tab. Click on the 'ShoutCast Server Hosting' link on the right hand side. Click the 'Import To Server Profile' link under the "Server Technical Details" heading.
