How does cross fading work?
Solution
Cross fading with LiveWebDJ works similar to an FM radio station in that silence between songs are eliminated and it sounds more professional to listeners. It will make your station sound more dynamic and almost as if there's an actual live person behind your station.
Here's how it works...
1) The next song to play is started 5 seconds before the current song has finished playing.
2) The song currently playing is faded out during the 5 second overlap. (volume gradually gets lowered)
3) The next song to play is faded in during the 5 second overlap. (volume gradually gets raised)
