Why do I still hear silence in between some songs?
Solution
If you still hear silence, or dead air, between some songs is most likely due to a trailing silence at the end of an MP3.
If you experience this issue, the silence is most likely located at the end of the song last played.
The best way to eliminate trailing silence at the end of an MP3 is to either:
1) If you have encoded (ripped) this song from a CD, try re-encoding the song again. Then listen to the MP3 on your computer and you will be able to hear any silence while the song is still playing. If you do not hear any silence at the beginning or the end of the song, then re-upload this song to your LiveWebDJ account. Be sure to delete the song from the 'Manage Media' tab before re-uploading it.
2) Edit the actual MP3 using your favorite Audio Editing Tool to eliminate any silence at the beginning or end of the song. Once you have saved your changes to the MP3 on your computer, you can then re-upload the song to your LiveWebDJ account. Be sure to delete the song from the 'Manage Media' tab before re-uploading it.
