How do I create a scheduled program using LiveWebDJ?
Solution
The process is fairly simple.
First, click on the 'Manage Playlists' tab from the top navigation bar. Then click on the 'Add Scheduled Playlist' link from the page.
Now you will be prompted to select date and time you would like this scheduled playlist to be queued. Remember all times are Eastern. The server will display the current date and time for reference.
Once you have selected a date and time, you can name the program. When you have completed this, verify that the information you've entered is correct then click on the 'Create Scheduled Playlist' button.
You will next be able to add MP3s to the playlist. Remember you MUST choose the MP3s in the order you wish them to play.
If you wish to have custom song announcements, simply record them on your computer and save them in MP3 format. Then upload them to your LiveWebDJ account. Remember when going through the upload process, select NOT to add to a playlist. You can come back and add these to your scheduled playlist at any time by selecting the 'Manage Playlists' link from the top nav bar, then selecting the 'View Scheduled Playlists' link. Then select the 'Edit' link next to the name of your scheduled playlist.
You can edit a scheduled playlist at any time until it is queued to play. Once the scheduled playlist is queued to play, it will disappear from the 'View Scheduled Playlists' page.
