What does setting my station Public mean?
Solution
When you select "yes" to set your station Public...
Your station will be listed in the appropriate Internet Radio
Station Directory, depending on which server software you are
broadcasting to...
A) ShoutCAST / ShoutCAST D.N.A.S. Servers
* Your station will be listed on:
http://www.shoutcast.com
B) IceCast 1.x/2.x Servers
* Your station will be listed on:
http://dir.xiph.org
When you select "no" to set your station Private...
Your station will not be listed in the appropriate directory
mentioned above.
Your directory listing is performed by the Streaming Server itself,
not LiveWebDJ. This setting simply tells the Streaming Server
whether or not you wish to be listed in the directory. If you have
set this to "yes" and your station is up and running, do not contact
us for support as there is nothing we can do about it. We recommend
contacting your Stream Hosting Provider, or the makers of your
stream server software (i.e. ShoutCAST / IceCast).
